Dottie's Day Trippers is full-service pet taxi serving Frederick County and all of Central Maryland. Our safe, comfortable transport services focus on taking your pet to places like the vet, the groomer, sitters and kennels, and more. One-way and round trip services are available, as well as waiting with your pets during appointments so they are not left alone.
Your dogs not get out much? Let us take them to the dog park for you! We also offer at-home dog walking and sitting services where we come to take care of your pet in your home.

Bradie, Founder, CEO, Mama-For-Life
I founded Dottie's Day Trippers in 2023 together with my husband and my dogs and cat. I have been a pet mom for over twenty years, starting when we got our first cat together soon after getting married. We have been talking about starting this business since we moved to Maryland in 2016, but finally decided to take the plunge this year. Thank you so much for your visit and your support of our dream!
Ry, Chief Pet Wrangler
Ry is my husband of 23 years and is responsible for most of our driving, walking, and dog park trips (as well as any snake feeding, he gets that and I get the spiders) He and I decided to start this business as an answer to the question, "how can we get paid to play with dogs all day?" Ry is a safety fanatic and always makes sure that our transport options are as safe and comfortable as we can make them for your pet.
Dottie
Dottie is our 12 year old pug and our inspiration for our business. She is an experience mama dog who is patient with kids and puppies but isn't afraid to teach the big dogs a lesson if one of them almost steps on her. Dottie goes to dog park for the people and can often be found at the benches, accepting her tribute in the form of pets and scratches.
Bacon
Sir Francis Bacon is a Boston Terrier, 13 years old, and swims like a fish. He loves getting dirty right after bath, teaching impressionable young dogs how to dig holes in the park, and being a cranky old man. He loves to play and walk as if he was a dog half his age, and sees to it that we go to dog park every single day.
Lily
Lily is our baby, 2.5 years old and a Pug, though she has spent so much time with Bacon that she thinks she is a Boston Terrier. Lily discovered she could swim last year and is a big fan of swims in the creek. Caution: sometimes has no bones
Rufus T
Rufus T. Barleysheath was Dottie and Bacon's only puppy, a Bugg (Boston Terrier/Pug mix) who was as bouncy as Tigger and loved to smother you with his famous Kiss Monster attack.
Sadly, we lost Rufus in February of 2021 unexpectedly, but we feel as if he is always with us in spirit and ready to knock us down with kisses in heaven.
